Social Worker – Full Time (Children's Services)
We are seeking a Full-Time Social Worker to support children and families in an educational setting. This role is ideal for a compassionate professional who enjoys collaboration and making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in intakes, evaluations, and annual IFSP/IEP reviews
- Support children and families with social, emotional, and clinical needs
- Assist families in accessing community resources and services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including educators and clinicians
- Maintain accurate documentation and case notes
- Conduct home visits and participate in team meetings as needed
- Support student transitions and ongoing family communication
Qualifications
- LMSW license in New York State (required)
- NYS DOE School Social Worker Certification (required)
- Experience working with children and families preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
