As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and engaging environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

As a Certified Activities Director at Kadima at Palmyra, you will be responsible for:

• Planning, organizing, and implementing a wide range of activities that cater to the interests and abilities of our residents

• Coordinating with residents, families, and staff to ensure that activities align with the facility's mission and goals

• Developing and implementing programs that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with community organizations and vendors to provide a diverse range of activities and events

• Maintaining accurate records of activities and participating in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Must possess or be able to obtain an APC (Activities Professional Certified) or ADC (Activities Director Certified) certification through NCCAP

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or a related field preferred

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
