Dietary Cook

Torrington Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a part time evening cook to aide in delivering quality food service and customer satisfaction. 

Duties Include:

• preparation, cooking, and service of all planned meals
• managing meal / tray line service 
• general cleaning kitchen schedules
• compliance with resident Diet Orders
• open communication with RDs

Requirements:

• Certification in healthcare cooking (ServSafe)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale cooking (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of large scale & therapeutic food prep
• Must be able to do some physical work
• Strong leadership skills and a team player
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
