Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and according to established procedures
• Monitor and record residents' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
• Conduct routine observations and assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to address residents' unique needs and preferences
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication administration and resident care

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medication technician certification preferred
• 1+ year of experience in long-term care or related field; experience with medication administration and documentation a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
