Physical Therapy Assistant PRN

Larel Square is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our therapy department.  

We have Full-Time and PRN positions available.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment modalities may include; individual, concurrent and group.

·        Provide excellent training for residents and caregivers.

·        Documents services provided within Rehab Optima on a timely basis.

·        Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.

·        Exhibits courtesy, compassion and respect to residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and co-workers in each and every interaction.

·        Demonstrates continuous new learning to remain current in the field.

·        Complies with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures to protect residents’ individual health information.

·        Participates in clinical program development and implementation.

·        Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.

·        Responsible for service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes.

·        Participates in the training and orientation of other staff, students and volunteers.

·        Participates in quality improvement activities as needed.

·        May perform additional assigned administrative duties like: assigning and overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, assuring execution of physician orders, ordering supplies, etc.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

·         Graduated from an accredited program approved by their professional association.

·         Current licensure by the applicable state agency.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred.
