About the Role

We are actively hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab department at Dawn Hill Home in Bristol, RI. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working in a skilled nursing environment and wants a supportive, team-based culture with consistent patient care!!

What You’ll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Implement individualized treatment plans to support mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence

• Document care accurately and in a timely manner

• Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams to ensure continuity of care

• Educate residents and staff on exercises, transfers, gait training, and use of assistive devices

• Support safe mobility, fall prevention, and discharge planning recommendations

• Maintain treatment areas and ensure safe therapy environments

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Active Rhode Island PTA license (or eligibility)

• Long-term care or geriatrics experience preferred (not required)

• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

• Passion for functional, resident-centered care
