Unit Manager RN or LPN

Job Summary

Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our nursing leadership team.

As the Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of your assigned unit, ensure the delivery of high-quality resident-centered care, and provide leadership to an interdisciplinary team of nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Nursing Leadership, Attending Providers/Medical Director, and Direct Care staff to support quality resident care.

• Supervise and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality healthcare services.

• Oversee daily unit operations and ensure resident needs are consistently met.

• Deliver and promote care in accordance with facility protocols and safe nursing practices.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing and interdisciplinary team members.

• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, facility policies, and clinical standards.

• Promote effective communication and teamwork among residents, families, and staff.

• Support a positive, respectful, and resident-focused environment.

• Address concerns and assist with resolving challenging situations professionally.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license.

• Knowledge of state and federal long-term care guidelines preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

• Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Compassionate and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
