Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hospitality Aide. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, as well as assisting with daily tasks such as monitoring and assisting smoking, cleaning & filling ice chests, passing ice/refreshing ice water, removing food trays, organizing resident rooms, providing companionship, passing other fluids and snacks, and other duties as needed. Responsibilities:

• Organize resident rooms, closets, and bedside stands to ensure a safe and comfortable environment

• Assist residents with smoking and monitoring for safety

• Provide companionship and socialization activities with residents, including reading, writing, and setting up other things as requested

• Assist with meal service, including setting up trays, passing fluids and snacks, and cleaning the dining room

• Make and clean unoccupied beds, and dispose of soiled linen

• Transport residents in wheelchairs or geri-chairs, with assistance from nursing staff as needed

• Present a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior, and speech

• Ensure that all patient/resident rights are protected

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience required

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull residents in wheelchairs or geri-chairs
