Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dependable and compassionate Medication Aide to support residents’ medication needs. The Medication Aide works under the general supervision of a licensed nurse and follows all applicable requirements and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within the scope of Tennessee Medication Aide certification.

• Follow medication administration procedures and resident-specific instructions.

• Document medications administered and report refusals, errors, or concerns promptly to the supervising nurse.

• Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.

• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.

• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Tennessee Medication Aide certificate required.

• Current nurse aide certification and long-term care experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Compassionate communication and teamwork skills.

• Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
