About the Role:

As a Dining Services Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and nutritional value of our meals, while promoting a positive dining experience for our residents and patients. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as planning and executing special events and occasions. Your expertise will help us maintain a clean and safe food environment, adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve delicious and nutritious meals to our residents and patients, ensuring compliance with dietary requirements and restrictions

• Plan and execute special events and occasions, such as birthday celebrations and holiday meals

• Maintain a clean and safe food environment, adhering to high standards of quality, safety, and sanitation

• Collaborate with our dietary team to develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our residents and patients

• Monitor inventory levels and make purchasing decisions to ensure efficient use of resources

• Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards

• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with residents, patients, and colleagues
