Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA) Class

Class meets: Mon-Fri 8 am- 2:30 pm MTN

Dates: Nov 2-13 & Nov 23/24 (as needed) No Class the week of the 16th-20th

We offer free and paid training with a continued employment opportunity for qualified candidates; no experience required. The course is a 75 hour class to occur during daytime hours, and designed to teach students to assist in general nursing care of residents, which includes helping bathe, feed, dress, and assist residents with daily living routine. Ensure residents comfort while assisting them in achieving their highest practicable level of functioning.

You will provide input to the nurses for development of the plan of care and information gathered from care giving activities.

Once certification is obtained, you would be eligible to work day, evening, or night CNA shifts at Avantara Saint Cloud.

Our nursing facility is a complete Memory Care Nursing Facility. You will help take care of residents with memory care needs (Dementia, Alzheimer's, etc.). You will play a vital role in helping each resident maintain a safe and healthy life by assisting with daily cares, feeding tasks, behavior de-escalation, and transferring assistance.
