Job Title: Housekeeper
Location: Morningstar Residential Care Center – Oswego, New York
Pay: $16/hr
Schedule: Full & Part Time!

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Morningstar Residential Care Center. Our Mission is to provide people in our community with healthcare, customer services, support, and employment to achieve their individual best quality of life. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the physical environment of our facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and public spaces

• Restock supplies and linens, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and clean

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels

• Assist with meal preparation and cleanup as needed

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in a healthcare setting
