School-Based Occupational Therapist (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Responsibilities
- Evaluate students to determine functional abilities and performance levels
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
- Provide therapy services in accordance with IFSP / IEP requirements
- Support student independence in activities of daily living and functional skills
- Maintain accurate attendance and progress records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, parents, and school personnel
- Recommend referrals to other clinical services when appropriate
- Design and fit adaptive devices such as splints or braces as needed
- Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy students and OT Assistants when applicable
- Maintain therapy equipment and coordinate supply needs
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Analytical ability to assess student progress and select appropriate interventions
- Willingness to undergo fingerprinting by the NY Board of Education / Department of Investigation
Requirements
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of Occupational Therapy experience
License: Valid NYS Occupational Therapy License
