Activity Assistant

Schedule: Full-time 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Evening Shifts

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Activities Aide to help plan and provide engaging activities for our residents. The Activities Aide will encourage resident participation, promote social interaction, and help create a positive and enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and leading recreational and social activities for residents

• Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities

• Assist with arts and crafts, games, entertainment, group programs, and special events

• Provide one-on-one activities for residents who are unable to participate in group programs

• Help prepare and organize activity materials and the activity area

• Maintain a welcoming and engaging environment for residents

• Document resident participation and activities as required

• Work with the Activities Department and other staff to support residents' social and emotional well-being

Requirements for Activities Assistant:

• Must have a cheerful and positive attitude

• Knowledge of PointClickCare
