Licensed Practical Nurse - Day Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Bell Minor Home in Gainesville, Georgia. This is an hourly day shift position with a differential pay of an additional $1.50 per hour added after 3PM. The selected candidate will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise day-to-day nursing activities, and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure the highest degree of quality care. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medication, wound care, and other treatments as ordered by the physician

• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing assistants, as well as support personnel, to ensure the highest quality of care

• Document and chart resident care, treatment, and progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures

• Assist in planning and implementing resident care plans, as well as participating in quality assurance programs

• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure coordination of care and timely communication of resident needs

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or administrator

Requirements:

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license

• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills

• Good Leadership qualities

• Organized and detailed in work performance

• Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience

• Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility

• Compliance with Residents' Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures

• Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements

Compensation:

• $34 - $39 HOURLY
