Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. As a Dietary Aide, you will assist in the preparation and serving of meals to our residents, ensuring that their dietary needs are met while maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, meats, and fruits

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety

• Assist with tray service, including setting up trays with meals, drinks, and snacks

• Monitor and manage inventory of food and supplies, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the management team

• Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and prepare special meals and events for residents

• Ensure that all dietary restrictions and preferences are taken into account when preparing meals

• Dietary Aide will also be responsible for performing other related duties as assigned by the management team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
