Job Summary:

Advocate Healthcare of East Boston is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals in Boston, Massachusetts. As a FT OT Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents through comprehensive and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to achieve specific goals and outcomes for our residents

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to inform treatment interventions

• Implement occupational therapy interventions, including ADLs, mobility, and cognitive training

• Collaborate with the Occupational Therapy team to ensure continuity of care and effective communication

• Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with agency policies and procedures

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability

• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care with a focus on customer service
