Central Supply Technician

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for a full-time opportunity in healthcare? The Alps at Wayne Rehab is seeking a dependable Central Supply Technician to join our team!

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

This position plays an important role in supporting our nursing department by ensuring that essential medical supplies and equipment are properly stocked, organized, and readily available. We're looking for someone who takes pride in staying organized, maintaining accurate inventory, and helping clinical staff get what they need to provide excellent resident care.

What You'll Do

• Receive, organize, and distribute medical supplies throughout the facility.

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure nursing units have the supplies they need.

• Monitor stock levels and communicate supply shortages or replenishment needs.

• Restock nursing stations, supply rooms, and designated storage areas.

• Organize and maintain clean, orderly, and properly labeled supply storage spaces.

• Check incoming deliveries for accuracy and report damaged or missing items.

• Rotate supplies and monitor expiration dates to ensure products are safe and usable.

• Assist with supply orders, inventory tracking, and maintaining accurate records.

• Work closely with nursing leadership and other departments to respond to supply requests.

• Follow facility procedures for infection prevention, storage, and handling of medical supplies.

• Help ensure essential supplies and equipment are readily accessible to support daily resident care.

What We're Looking For

• Previous central supply, medical supply, inventory, or materials management experience preferred.

• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility, nursing home, hospital, rehabilitation center, or other healthcare environment is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain inventory records.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests throughout the day.

• Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift supplies as required.

• A positive attitude and willingness to support the needs of the nursing department.
