Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Cambridge Healthcare Services. As a SLP, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings

• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques

• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop a comprehensive treatment plan

• Develop innovative home programs individualized to meet the needs of patients and their families

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

• May encounter frequent interruptions

• May be involved with patients, family, and government agencies
