Join our team at Colonial Manor, where we're dedicated to providing high-quality care and service to our residents. We're seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of our beautiful facility.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the building, grounds, and equipment remain in excellent working order. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks, as well as supporting groundskeeping and other essential services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform light carpentry, painting, and basic plumbing as needed

• Support groundskeeping: mowing, trimming, minor outdoor cleanup

• Help with room turnovers, hanging fixtures, and small projects

• Conduct daily checks on facility equipment and safety items

• Respond to work orders in a timely and courteous manner

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and supply areas

• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines

• Maintain records that keep facility in compliance with regulations

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, construction, or handyman experience required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and repair methods

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Comfortable working around residents in a long-term care environment

• Must pass background screening (per state and facility requirements)
