Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality patient care, conduct physical therapy treatments, and maintain accurate records. Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluating and treating patients with various physical disabilities and injuries
• Implement treatment plans, including exercises, therapies, and modalities, as prescribed by Physical Therapists
• Monitor patient progress, report changes, and make recommendations for adjustments in treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient treatments, progress, and outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of physical therapy equipment

Requirements:

• Preferred: Associates degree in Physical Therapy or related field; current certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or willingness to obtain; strong communication and interpersonal skills
