Maintenance Assistant Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to equipment, fixtures, and furniture

• Conduct regular rounds to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any concerns or issues that may arise

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed, materials used, and schedules

• Assist with minor renovations, painting, and other cosmetic improvements

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies

Maintenance Assistant Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate or associate's degree in maintenance, facilities management, or related field preferred

• 1+ year of maintenance experience in a healthcare or senior living setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction

• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
