Maintenance Worker / Handyman

New Vista Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable, skilled, and experienced Maintenance Worker / Handyman to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have general maintenance knowledge and hands-on experience performing repairs, upkeep, and maintenance throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs.

• Complete painting, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs.

• Perform sheetrock installation, patching, and repairs.

• Maintain walls, doors, floors, fixtures, and other facility components.

• Troubleshoot and address maintenance issues promptly.

• Assist with preventive maintenance and routine inspections.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Respond to maintenance requests and follow facility procedures.

• Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, or building repairs.

• Knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical work, and sheetrock repairs.

• General handyman skills and ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks.

• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.

• Dependable, punctual, and responsible.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Healthcare facility or nursing home maintenance experience is a plus.
