We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse Unit Manager to lead our healthcare team at Hagerstown Nursing and Rehab, a premier provider of post-acute care in Hagerstown, MD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing center, ensuring exceptional patient care, and promoting a positive work environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the nursing department, including staff management, patient care, and quality improvement initiatives

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care, promoting open communication and collaboration among staff members

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Collaborate with other departments, including therapy, dietary, and social services, to ensure comprehensive care for our patients

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland

• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a similar nursing management role

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient care and customer service
