About the Role:

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech-language and cognitive disorders to our residents. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills, working closely with our skilled nursing staff, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Your Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) expertise will help our residents achieve their goals and regain independence, fostering a sense of confidence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of residents' communication and cognitive skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech-language and cognitive disorders
• Deliver treatment sessions, utilizing various techniques and strategies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and develop effective treatment plans
• Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to continuously improve services
