• Availability: Dependable daytime availability required

About the Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant with Comfort Keepers, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life while remaining safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Our caregivers provide personalized care, companionship, and assistance with everyday activities based on each client's individual needs and care plan.

We are looking for individuals who understand the importance of reliability, professionalism, and consistent attendance, especially when working with clients who depend on regular assistance throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.

• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.

• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.

• Provide medication reminders and permitted assistance within the caregiver's authorized scope of practice.

• Follow individualized client care plans and company procedures.

• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• Communicate changes in client condition or concerns to the office promptly.

• Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.

• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for every client.

• Arrive on time and maintain dependable attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

• Dependable daytime availability required.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Current automobile insurance.

• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.

• Current CPR certification.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to provide compassionate, professional, and respectful care.

• Ability to follow care plans and work independently in clients' homes.

• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred but not required.

• Willingness to complete required onboarding, orientation, and training.
