We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Butterfly Home Care - Manassas in Prince William County, VA. As a Personal Care Assistant with our organization, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide medication reminders and assist with self-administration of medication as needed
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as necessary
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
• Engage clients in activities that promote mental and physical well-being
• Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor or case manager
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients as needed
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to client confidentiality policies

• Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred
