Available Shift(s): 3pm - 7pm, 4 days per week
Compensation: $17.50 - $22.00, based on experience + applicable shift differentials ($3.00/hour on Saturday and Sunday) 
Position Status: Non-Exempt 

About the Role 

Colonial Fox Den is a small, tight-knit community with a small staff of 19 team members and 36 resident rooms. We're looking for an Evening Personal Aide to help residents comfortably transition through the evening and prepare for the night ahead. 

You'll provide medication supervision, assist with dining and evening routines, respond to resident needs, and provide the reassurance that someone is nearby when assistance is needed. This position requires someone comfortable working independently, as the Evening Personal Aide is the only staff member onsite after 7:30 PM. 

What You'll Do 

• Respond promptly to resident emergency buzzers and other resident needs. 

• Provide medication supervision in accordance with established procedures. 

• Assist residents with evening routines and getting ready for bed. 

• Help residents transition to the dining room and provide mealtime assistance. 

• Set up the dining room and support supper service. 

• Communicate with the cook and other team members regarding resident needs. 

• Review resident information and documentation at the beginning of the shift. 

• Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment throughout the evening. 

• Communicate concerns or changes involving residents appropriately. 

• Remain calm and professional and respond appropriately during emergencies. 

What We're Looking For 

• High school diploma or GED required. 

• No license required. 

• No prior experience required; caregiving experience, particularly with older adults, is preferred. 

• Dependable and comfortable working independently. 

• Compassionate and attentive to resident needs. 

• Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions during emergencies. 

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
