About the Role

As a Dietary Aide at Aspen Glen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality care of our patients through dietary services. As a key member of our nutrition team, you will assist with food preparation, meal distribution, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting will make you an asset to our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including meal planning, food labeling, and food handling

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards

• Assist with meal distribution, ensuring timely delivery of meals to patients

• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory and food waste management

• Collaborate with the nutrition team to ensure patient dietary needs are met

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 0 years of experience in dietary services or related field

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies (up to 50 pounds)

• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
