Rehab Tech – $23–$28/hr | Olympic View Post Acute | Port Angeles, WA

Olympic View Post Acute in Port Angeles is hiring a Rehabilitation Technician (Rehab Tech) to support our Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy team. You’ll be the person who keeps therapy running smoothly: getting residents to their sessions, setting up the gym, and making every treatment minute count. No license required. If you’re reliable, upbeat, and like being on your feet, this is a great way to start (or grow) a career in healthcare and rehab.

Pay: $23–$28 per hour, based on experience
Location: Port Angeles, WA
Setting: Skilled nursing / post-acute rehab

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport residents to and from therapy sessions and group therapy

• Set up residents and equipment for sessions as directed by PT, OT, and SLP staff

• Coordinate with nursing staff so residents are ready on time and groups start promptly

• Set up group therapy spaces (seating, equipment, supplies)

• Clean and sanitize therapy equipment and treatment areas following infection control standards

• Keep the therapy gym organized and stocked, and report damaged or missing equipment

• Help with scheduling, tracking logs, filing, scanning, and other non-clinical paperwork

• Let therapists know when residents are unavailable because of meals, nursing care, or appointments

• Create a positive, encouraging environment for every resident

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, resident-centered attitude

• Ability to follow directions, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting

• Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems)

• Commitment to resident privacy (HIPAA)

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and push wheelchairs/equipment throughout the shift

• Ability to lift up to [50] lbs, with or without assistance or equipment

• Annual TB screening and physical per facility policy

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare, rehab, skilled nursing, or patient care

• Experience working with older adults

• CPR/BLS certification
