Our food service team plays an important role in providing nutritious meals and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents. We are looking for team players who take pride in their work and are committed to providing quality service.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, storage areas, and workstations.

• Assist with food preparation and portioning according to menus, recipes, and production guidelines.

• Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation procedures.

• Monitor dishwashing equipment and follow established sanitation standards.

• Clean and sanitize beverage stations, serving areas, equipment, and food service carts.

• Assist with meal service and ensure food is served according to established procedures.

• Transport food, supplies, and meal carts to designated resident areas as assigned.

• Restock supplies and maintain organized refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.

• Follow all food safety, infection control, and workplace safety procedures.

• Work collaboratively with the dietary team and other departments to support resident needs.

• Complete assigned duties and assist with additional tasks as directed by the Food Service Supervisor or management.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of eighth grade; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous food service, restaurant, or institutional dining experience is helpful but not required.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.

• Dependable, flexible, and willing to learn.

• Ability to follow instructions and established food safety procedures.

• Ability to work beyond scheduled hours when necessary.
