Evening Shift Resident Care Aide

Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable, caring, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health conditions, and support residents with memory loss in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding

• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises

• Monitor and document residents’ health status and report changes to nursing staff

• Offer emotional support and companionship

• Engage memory care residents in meaningful activities and redirection techniques

• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment

• Comply with all safety protocols and facility policies

• Assist with laundry (personal and linens), etc.

Qualifications:

• Current Florida CNA or HHA certification (required)

• CPR & First Aid Certification (required)

• Level II background screening (or willingness to obtain)

• Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care training (preferred or must complete upon hire)

• Minimum 1 year of experience in assisted living or memory care (preferred)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
