Mashgiach - Great Neck, NY

We are hiring a dedicated Mashgiach for a busy kosher pizza restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all food deliveries and check kosher certifications on every product

• Check produce and ingredients according to kosher standards

• Oversee kitchen operations and keep meat, dairy and pareve separation where required

• Turn on ovens and equipment as required by the certifying agency

• Keep kashrus logs and work with the certifying agency and owners

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of kashrus and kosher food service

• Previous restaurant or food service supervision experience preferred

• Acceptable to the certifying kashrus agency

• Reliable, detail-oriented and punctual

• Available for restaurant shifts including evenings

Location: Great Neck, NY

Schedule: Shifts during restaurant hours; full-time or part-time

Compensation: $30 per hour
