Rounding CNA (Temporary)

Position Summary

The rounding CNA will have a specific assignment derived on the need of the assignment and timeframe implemented.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversight of list of residents that have exit seeking behaviors identified in the elopement binder

• Knowledge and understanding of wandering, exit seeking behaviors

• Redirection of residents as needed

• Knowledge of resident's whereabouts (elopement binder)

• Notify supervisor of any residents trying to exit doors or verbally discuss plans to exit or leave

• Identify other residents that may be wandering of have exit seeking behaviors not identified as elopement risk and notify Supervisor immediately

• Check doors alarming to ensure resident safety

Required Qualifications

• Active unrestricted license

• Ability to perform walking, lifting, standing for longer periods of time

• Experience in long-term care

• Knowledge of assignment expectations

• Ability to document prn
