One Step Forward is hiring an experienced Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist for an in home, one on one case in Brooklyn, NY 11204. This is a part time position with weekday afternoon and evening hours - a good fit for someone with ABA experience who wants a steady case close to home.

Pay: $22 to $32 per hour based on experience

What You'll Do

You'll work one on one with a learner, following an individualized ABA treatment plan under BCBA supervision, with ongoing clinical guidance throughout the case. Sessions take place in the learner's home during after school and evening hours and may include:

• Communication and language development

• Social and play skills

• Independence and daily living skills

• Routines and transitions

• Building appropriate replacement behaviors

• Skill acquisition programs

• Reinforcement and prompting strategies

• Behavior reduction programs

• Generalizing new skills into everyday routines

You'll collect data during each session, complete required electronic documentation, and communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA about progress.

Schedule

We're looking for someone who can commit to a consistent weekly schedule with the same learner during after school and evening hours.

What We're Looking For

• Previous ABA experience

• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities

• Background as an ABA Therapist, Behavior Technician, RBT, paraprofessional, special education aide, or similar role

• Able to follow an individualized ABA treatment plan

• Dependable and able to maintain a consistent schedule

• Professional communication with families and the supervising BCBA

• Comfortable providing services in the learner's home

Support

You'll have ongoing BCBA supervision and clinical guidance throughout the case, along with administrative support when needed.
