About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of residents, assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders to improve communication and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and swallowing disorders

• Conduct speech and language evaluations, as well as cognitive and swallowing screenings

• Provide speech and language therapy services to residents, including group and individual sessions

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

• Master's degree or Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program

• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Missouri

• Experience working with post-acute care or skilled nursing facility residents preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
