Medical Records/Central Supply

CareCore at Lakeridge is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Central Supply / Medical Records Coordinator to join our team!

This position plays an important role in supporting daily operations within our skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage both medical supply inventory and resident medical records efficiently.

Responsibilities

Central Supply:

• Order, receive, organize, and distribute medical supplies throughout the facility.

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock of essential supplies.

• Track supply usage and assist with inventory management and cost control.

• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked supply areas.

• Work closely with nursing staff and department leaders to ensure supply needs are met.

Medical Records:

• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential resident medical records.

• Assist with filing, scanning, and updating medical documentation.

• Ensure records are maintained in accordance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.

• Assist with medical record requests, audits, and documentation reviews.

• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers by ensuring required documentation is complete.

• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in central supply, medical records, or healthcare administration preferred.

• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly PointClickCare (PCC), is a plus.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and resident confidentiality requirements.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
