Nurse Practitioner

Rambam Family Health Center, a modern, community-rooted family medical center in Midwood, Brooklyn, is launching a new urgent care telehealth service and is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to start in early November. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works on site at our Brooklyn center, seeing patients by video while our field technicians visit homes with digital stethoscopes, ear and throat cameras, and rapid swab testing. A medical scribe handles documentation, so the Nurse Practitioner (NP) stays focused on patients. Urgent care or primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) is required, along with active New York Medicaid credentialing.

Nurse Practitioner (NP) Duties

Evaluate and treat patients via telehealth, supported by in-home technicians

Diagnose and manage common acute conditions: strep, flu, COVID, ear infections, rashes, UTIs

Review lung sounds, ear and throat images, and rapid test results captured in the home

Prescribe medications and send prescriptions electronically

Review and sign off on scribe-prepared notes at the end of each shift

Nurse Practitioner (NP) Compensation and Schedule

Pay: up to $90 per hour

Full time, 30+ hours per week

Schedule: Either Mon–Thu 2–10pm or Friday and Weekends

Location: on site in Midwood, Brooklyn, NY

Nurse Practitioner (NP) Qualifications

Active New York State Nurse Practitioner (NP) license; Physician Assistant (PA) candidates also considered

Urgent care or primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), comfortable with a pediatric-heavy patient mix

Current New York Medicaid credentialing
