Nurse Practitioner

$90 per hour

Shore Staffing, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide medical evaluations and assessments for youth in a secure juvenile facility located in Allegany County, Maryland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner looking for a flexible, part-time position with a consistent weekly schedule!

Position Details

• Location: Allegany County, MD

• Schedule: 2 days per week

• Hours: 4-hour clinic days (8 hours weekly)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments for youth.

• Review medical histories and evaluate current health concerns.

• Perform physical examinations and provide clinical recommendations.

• Identify medical needs and recommend appropriate treatment or follow-up care.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with facility medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license.

• Current national NP certification.

• Experience working with adolescents or in correctional, behavioral health, or institutional healthcare settings preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
