Sweetwater Care
About Sweetwater Care
Sweetwater Care is a skilled nursing provider operating in multiple facilities across the United States, serving residents of diverse backgrounds at every stage of life. Our mission is to help each of our communities to become the preferred care provider in the demographic it serves. We build trusting relationships with residents, families, and community partners through consistent, high-quality care, pairing rigorous clinical standards with a compassionate, person-centered approach that treats every individual with dignity and respect. We invest significantly in clinical programs that help residents achieve the highest possible quality of life, and we foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement across our long-term and post-acute care settings.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time Healthcare Insights Specialist to gather, analyze, and interpret clinical and operational data from across our facilities and platforms. This role will transform our outcomes and improvement opportunities into clear, measurable insights that elevate resident care, guide the company’s strategic direction, and support continuous innovation. These findings will also allow us to demonstrate resident outcomes and organizational achievements to providers, community partners, and other stakeholders. Framing and communicating this information is the central purpose of the role.
The successful candidate will extract outcomes from our clinical systems, identify meaningful trends, and translate findings into concise, compelling recommendations for both clinical and non-clinical audiences, including the executive team, clinical partners, vendors, physician groups, accountable care organizations (ACOs), capital partners, government agencies, and other interested parties. The role also contributes to quality improvement initiatives and requires remaining current on healthcare practices and regulations so that recommendations align with industry standards and organizational goals.
This position works closely with our Chief Operating Officer, senior clinical leadership, and compliance team, with full immersion in the company’s clinical processes. The role will progress from developing deliverables to presenting them directly to these audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Compile and analyze data from PointClickCare, our electronic medical record platform, along with other clinical and operational systems, to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that improve resident care and outcomes.
Review clinical records and care protocols, translating findings into clear recommendations for leadership.
Develop frameworks to evaluate which approaches and interventions best serve residents, determine how their impact can be measured, and help refine care pathways and quality improvement initiatives.
Produce briefs, presentations, and summaries that external audiences can understand without specialized knowledge of our facilities or the skilled nursing industry.
Establish recurring reports that give internal leadership timely, readily accessible views of program and clinical outcome metrics.
Communicate insights effectively to both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
Support training initiatives that put findings into practice across the organization.
Assess data for validity and reliability, and communicate transparently about program effectiveness, prudence, and likelihood of success.
Remain current on healthcare best practices and state and federal regulations so that recommendations align with industry standards and organizational goals.
Maintain strict confidentiality of resident records and exercise discretion regarding proprietary company strategies.
Qualifications
Two to five years of experience in management consulting, healthcare analytics, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous or incomplete information, address gaps with sound evidence and regulatory knowledge, and present well-supported conclusions.
Strong, hands-on analytical skills using Excel, SQL, or a business intelligence (BI) tool. You independently locate and retrieve data rather than relying on others to supply it.
Excellent presentation skills, with the capacity to distill large volumes of findings into concise, credible presentations that prioritize substance over design.
Proficiency with AI tools, paired with a rigorous process for verifying their output.
An open-minded, coachable approach. Long-term care is among the most heavily regulated industries, and this role requires learning it quickly from experienced colleagues.
Genuine curiosity about whether the Sweetwater approach improves residents’ quality of life, and a commitment to measuring, quantifying, and communicating that impact.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in long-term care, post-acute care, senior living, or healthcare regulation.
Compensation
Base salary of $145,000 to $155,000
Annual performance bonus of 10% to 15%, tied to defined deliverables
Compensation review at twelve months, with an increase tied to assuming additional external-facing responsibilities
This package is competitive with comparable consulting firm positions. What sets this role apart is ownership: the right candidate will lead their work from inception to completion and present it directly to the industry leaders who make defining decisions.
