About the Role:

As an Assistant Housekeeping Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, including supervising staff, implementing cleaning protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, while also promoting a positive work culture among our staff.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness and customer service

• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to meet regulatory requirements

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards and identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with other departments to address any concerns or issues related to cleanliness or maintenance

• Develop and manage budgets for housekeeping supplies and equipment

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continually improve our services and outcomes

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a healthcare or hospitality setting

• Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols and infection control measures

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in related field preferred
