In House Counsel - Los Angeles, CA

We are hiring an experienced In House Counsel for a skilled nursing provider with multiple facilities. This is a full-time leadership role with real impact.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership and facility teams on regulatory, licensing and compliance matters

• Manage litigation and claims and coordinate with outside counsel

• Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, vendor and payer agreements

• Support survey responses, CDPH matters and corporate transactions

• Develop policies and train staff on legal and compliance topics

Qualifications

• JD and active California Bar membership in good standing

• 5+ years of legal experience; healthcare, long-term care or SNF experience strongly preferred

• Knowledge of CMS, CDPH, HIPAA and elder care regulations

• Excellent judgment, writing and negotiation skills

• Able to work independently as a trusted advisor to leadership

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Schedule: Full-time, on-site

Compensation: $160,000 - $210,000 per year + benefits
