Strategic Purchaser – Lakewood, NJ

We are hiring a Strategic Purchaser to manage and grow our e-commerce and dropship purchasing program for leading consumer electronics brands. This is not a reorder-from-a-price-list job: pricing, availability and opportunities change every day.

What You Will Do

• Track market pricing, product trends, promotions and supply and demand

• Decide when to buy, wait or pass on a deal and set stock quantities

• Build a broad network of distributors, wholesalers and traders and negotiate pricing and terms

• Own the financial outcome of each purchase, including sell-through

• Test new brands and products in controlled quantities

What You Bring

• Strong market instincts and a natural drive to find and negotiate deals

• Understanding of margins, inventory turns, cash flow and risk

• Organized, analytical and able to explain purchasing decisions clearly

• A plus: product trading, closeout stock, retail arbitrage or e-commerce sourcing and resale

As a Strategic Purchaser you buy like a trader and manage inventory like a business owner.

Compensation: $70,000 base + bonuses up to $50,000

Schedule: Full-time, on-site in Lakewood, NJ
