About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead an assisted living community in Menifee, CA.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in senior living operations, exceptional people management skills, and a passion for providing outstanding care and service to residents.

This individual will oversee all aspects of community operations, including staff leadership, resident satisfaction, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and occupancy growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assisted living community, ensuring high standards of resident care, safety, and satisfaction.

• Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and community staff.

• Ensure compliance with California Department of Social Services regulations and all applicable licensing requirements.

• Manage budgets, operating expenses, financial performance, and staffing levels.

• Drive occupancy, resident retention, and overall community growth.

• Partner with sales and marketing teams to support admissions and community outreach.

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and healthcare partners.

• Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and employee engagement.

• Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, and resident experience.

• Maintain a positive, accountable, and resident-focused community culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Executive Director, Administrator, or senior operations leader in assisted living or senior living.

• Strong knowledge of California assisted living regulations and RCFE requirements.

• Current California RCFE Administrator Certification required.

• Demonstrated success managing staff, budgets, occupancy, and community operations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong financial and operational management abilities.

• Ability to balance resident care, regulatory compliance, and business performance.

Compensation

$110,000–$130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
