As a Social Service Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

As a Social Service Assistant, you'll:

• Provide emotional support and counseling to residents, families, and staff members

• Facilitate socialization and community-building activities to promote resident engagement and connection

• Assess and develop individualized care plans to address residents' social, emotional, and spiritual needs

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and coordination of services

• Document resident interactions, progress, and concerns in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience (entry-level or recent graduates welcome!)

• Non-degree or equivalent experience in social work, counseling, or a related field (or willingness to learn and grow with us!)

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with social services, gerontology, and/or long-term care (or willingness to learn)
