Hospitality Aide

Are you currently enrolled in a state-approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program and looking to gain hands-on experience in a skilled nursing facility? Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is looking for a dependable, compassionate Hospitality Aide to support our nursing team and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents.

This is a great opportunity for a nursing assistant student or CNA student to gain valuable experience while supporting resident comfort, safety, and quality of life.

What You'll Do

As a Hospitality Aide, you will provide non-nursing, non-direct care support services under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor. Responsibilities include:

• Support the Nursing Team: Answer call lights, make unoccupied beds, distribute linens, pass ice and water, deliver meal trays, and distribute residents' laundry.

• Promote Resident Comfort: Routinely check on residents to ensure their personal needs are being addressed and provide one-on-one companionship under licensed nurse supervision.

• Maintain a Clean Environment: Clean and organize wheelchairs, tray tables, equipment, and other resident care items according to established protocols.

• Assist with Resident Activities: Deliver mail and newspapers, help visually impaired residents read their mail, decorate bulletin boards, and support activities and social programs.

• Prepare for Admissions: Ensure resident rooms are ready for new arrivals, prepare admission supplies, and inventory and label personal belongings as instructed.

• Assist with Transitions: Help residents pack their belongings when transferring rooms or preparing for discharge.

• Support Resident Mobility: Assist with lifting, positioning, and transporting residents using appropriate equipment and established safety procedures.

• Help with Appointments: Assist residents with preparation and transportation to appointments, activities, and social events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Must be enrolled in a state-approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program.

• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.

• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to resident safety and comfort.

• Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment.
