Community Relations Associate

Encore Village is seeking Full-Time and Part-Time Community Relations Associates to support residents’ daily needs and enhance their quality of life. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and the SLP Manager, this role includes housekeeping, laundry, dining assistance, resident engagement, safety monitoring, and support with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living tasks, housekeeping, bed making, and laundry.

• Perform safety checks and report changes in residents’ physical, cognitive, or emotional well-being.

• Assist residents with meals, menu selection, dining room escorts, and tray delivery.

• Encourage participation in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.

• Help plan, set up, and facilitate activities and community outings.

• Maintain accurate resident documentation and communicate concerns promptly to appropriate team members.

• Provide escort and wheelchair transportation assistance as needed.

• Respond to emergencies within the scope of training and certification.

• Attend staff meetings, complete required training, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with older adults.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to perform a variety of resident support and household tasks.

• Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care preferred.

• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification, as required.
