Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to lead our sales and marketing efforts at a compassionate and innovative memory care community in Glenview, Illinois. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for directing the sales and marketing program, building relationships with area professionals, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the sales and marketing program, ensuring alignment with our organization's vision, purpose, values, and goals

• Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans, quarterly updates, and occupancy and sales reports

• Identify and pursue qualified leads, show apartments, and provide information to prospective residents and families

• Build relationships with area professionals and maintain contact with prospective residents, referral sources, and others

• Interview and review records for approval of prospective residents and oversee the acceptance process for new residents

• Supervise or act as move-in coordinator, facilitating the move-in process and writing work orders as necessary

• Monitor and manage the department's budget, preparing monthly financial reports

• Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, families, referral sources, and coworkers

• Promote and protect the rights of all residents

Requirements:

• High school diploma with some vocational or college course work in business, marketing, or a related field

• Five years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience

• Knowledge of sales management theory, effective sales closing methods, prospect evaluation methods, and principles of organization and functions of a retirement community

• Ability to focus on results, think strategically, and lead by example

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
