As a Healthcare Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and delivering a high-quality living experience for our residents.

About the Role:

As a Healthcare Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for completing and overseeing facility projects as directed, ensuring resident rooms are neat and in order, assisting with audits and inspections, and performing other tasks as assigned by the Administrator and/or Director of Environmental Services. You will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional care and services to our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Completes and oversees facility projects as directed
• Helps ensure resident rooms are neat and in order in a timely fashion
• Assists with audits and inspections as dictated by Department of Health and Life Safety Code requirements
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Administrator and/or Director of Environmental Services

Minimum Requirements:

• Nursing home experience preferred
• Basic computer skills including email
• Familiar with work order systems (TELS preferred)
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team
• Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Patience, understanding, and compassion for those requiring our care
