We are looking for a creative and engaging T.H.R.I.V.E. Coordinator to lead resident engagement programming within our community.

Guided by our T.H.R.I.V.E. Montessori by Mosaic philosophy, this role is responsible for developing meaningful, person-centered experiences that support resident well-being, independence, dignity, choice, and quality of life.

  • Lead Activities & Events: Plan programs that support social connection, emotional wellness, lifelong learning, spiritual enrichment, recreation, physical activity, and therapeutic engagement.

  • Support Person-Centered Engagement: Help ensure resident preferences and engagement goals are reflected in everyday experiences and care planning, including participation in interdisciplinary team meetings as appropriate.

  • Promote Purpose & Independence: Create opportunities for residents to participate in clubs, committees, outings, volunteer activities, community roles, and other meaningful daily experiences.

  • Maintain Consistent Daily Engagement: Help coordinate gap-free engagement opportunities so residents have meaningful options throughout the day.

  • Coordinate Learning & Intergenerational Programs: Develop and support Domain Activities of Learning, intergenerational experiences, and other programs that encourage continued growth and connection.

  • Coordinate Outings & Community Connections: Organize resident outings, volunteer opportunities, and partnerships within the surrounding community.

  • Build Community: Partner with residents, families, team members, and department leaders to coordinate community-wide events, celebrations, family programs, and shared experiences.

  • Welcome New Residents: Introduce new residents and team members to the T.H.R.I.V.E. Montessori by Mosaic philosophy and the engagement opportunities available within the community.

  • Know Your Residents: Maintain resident biographies, social histories, preference profiles, and engagement documentation to help create experiences that are meaningful to each individual.

  • Communicate Resident Life: Create monthly activity calendars and newsletters and help share resident experiences through community social media and promotional materials.

  • Support Team Engagement: Coordinate employee appreciation activities, recognition programs, spirit weeks, and team-building events.

  • Support & Train the Team: Provide training and support to team members to help ensure high-quality, person-centered engagement is incorporated throughout the community.

  • Manage Programming Resources: Coordinate supplies, decorations, materials, and other resources while staying within established budgets.

  • Comfortable using computers and activity scheduling programs.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Experience working with older adults is preferred.

  • Knowledge of dementia care and person-centered engagement approaches is preferred.

  • Understanding of activity programming and resident engagement principles.

  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations related to resident activities and engagement.

Why This Role Matters

The T.H.R.I.V.E. Coordinator helps shape what everyday life feels like within the community.
